Save the Date for the SALIENT Final Event!
Join the SALIENT project on 8 July 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, for the SALIENT Final Event, held within MatComp25 – the XVI National Congress on Composite Materials, one of Spain’s largest national conferences on advanced composites.
Hosted at the World Trade Centre in Barcelona, the event will bring together key players from research, academia, and industry to explore innovations in composite materials and future-proof vehicle design.
From 11:30 to 13:00 CET, SALIENT will hold its Final Event, showcasing the achievements of the past three years, lessons learned, and work centred on the development of a revolutionary Front-End-Structure (FES) that is lighter, safer, circular, and smarter.
What to Expect
Insights on the future of innovation and safety in transport.
A deep dive into how next-gen composite materials are shaping vehicle design and crash performance.
Real-world applications of advanced crashboxes with lightweight, circular composites.
Cutting-edge virtual testing methods for full-vehicle crash validation.
A look at crash testing requirements and emerging standards for novel composites.
Reflections from the SALIENT consortium on project achievements and the future of composite innovation.
Do not miss the opportunity to learn more about the results of the SALIENT project and to engage in discussions on the latest advances in composite technologies. Participants will also have the chance to network and explore future applications at the intersection of industry and academia.
