What?

SALIENT stands for “Novel Concepts for Safer, Lighter, Circular and Smarter Vehicle Structure Design for Enhanced Crashworthiness and Higher Compatibility”. The main outcome of the Research & Innovation Action (RIA) is a new Front End Structure (FES) design for vehicles, which is more circular, lightweight, safe and smart than available components on the market today.

Our project activities take place all across Europe, consortium partners from 7 countries work together, find out more about who we are in our dedicated section.

When?

Following a Kick-Off in September 2022, the SALIENT Project runs for a total of 3 years and ends in August 2025. During the execution of the Project, different phases of development and test are planned.
