Second stop: Structural and safety requirements for FES

The most recent reports submitted to the European Commission stem from WP 1 (Technical and Performance Requirements and Future Crash Scenarios) and mark the end of this first work package. The objective of the work performed is to create a solid baseline for all future activities of the SALIENT project (including FES designs, simulation activities, crash test configurations and validation activities).

Following the first analysis of future crash configurations (see previous news article), two further deliverables were created dealing with the structural and safety considerations on the one and the interaction between sensor systems on the other hand.
